I looked for houses with my wife again today. We found one that is a good deal, but is quite a fixer upper.

Its in serious bad shape aesthetically, but solid structurally. All the rest of the houses in the area are selling for way more, its just that trashed inside. I feel like I am on that show, flip that house. Instead of fixing it up to sell it, I am fixing it up to live in it.

We sent in a low-ball offer today on the off chance that it will be accepted. I don’t really expect much from it right now, but it never hurts to try.

If all goes well I will be breaking my lease and start moving my crap out of this one bedroom appartment and moving into a silly over sized, messy house.
